One of the things, if not the only thing, I remember from the writer’s course I attended is the phrase, “Writers, write.” I have used it often when encouraging other authors and as a reminder to myself. It doesn’t have to be on a story. I have many different outlets for writing- ghostwriting, stories, poems, journals, encouraging text messages, etc. Challenge for You: Write! When I don’t write anything for an extended period of time it takes me longer to collect my thoughts and progress through the storytelling. But if I write something almost every day it helps me collect my thoughts into text. There are days I might write a few sentences in my journal and then there are days I might spend hours working on a story. The more (often) I write, the more (quantity) I write. The less I write, the less I write. Tip of the Day: Write! #NaNoWriMo #writerscommunity #authorlife #storytelling #writerswrite #write #journal #poetry Nicole Donoho, owner of Teddyfly LLC, enjoys writing stories for all ages.
